Audit Report Reviewer

• Confirm accuracy: The reviewer checks that the information presented in the report accurately reflects the audit's findings and evidence.
• Evaluate evidence: They assess whether the evidence cited in the report is sufficient and appropriate to support the audit's conclusions. This includes reviewing primary data like interviews and secondary data from organizational records.
• Assess methodology: The reviewer verifies that the audit team's methodology was sound and followed the established scope and criteria.
• Check for non-compliance: They must confirm that any non-conformances or deviations from social standards, laws, and ethical codes are accurately detailed in the report.
• Review findings and conclusions: The reviewer evaluates the audit's findings and conclusions against the initial objectives to ensure they are consistent and fair.
• Assess recommendations: They review any recommendations made by the auditor to confirm they are actionable, practical, and in line with the organization's goals.
• Report on unresolved issues: If there were significant obstacles or disagreements between the audit team and the audited party, the reviewer ensures these are documented in the report.
