Audit Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Audit Manager / Assistant Manager to join our finance team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in statutory audits for both India and UK entities, along with hands-on knowledge of IFRS, IND-AS and UK GAAP. This is a key role within the finance function, offering exposure to international accounting standards and the opportunity to contribute to a robust audit and compliance framework.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage statutory audits for India and UK entities in line with applicable accounting and auditing standards.
2. Prepare, review, and finalize financial statements, audit reports, and related disclosures.
3. Ensure compliance with IFRS, IND-AS, UK GAAP, and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
4. Liaise with external auditors, internal teams, and key stakeholders to ensure timely audit completion.
5. Oversee the entire audit lifecyclefrom planning and execution to documentation and reporting.
6. Identify audit issues, assess associated risks, and recommend corrective actions and process improvements.
7. Support the CFO with audit-related insights, reporting, and compliance initiatives.
8. Mentor and guide junior audit staff, promoting a strong culture of governance and internal control.

Qualifications:

Must have Skills & Experience:

1. 5-7 years of post-qualification experience in audit.
2. Strong technical knowledge of audit methodologies, financial reporting, and international accounting standards.
3. Practical experience with IFRS, IND-AS, and UK GAAP.
4. Proficient in Consolidation tools.
5. Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
6. Proven ability to manage cross-border audits and work effectively across teams and jurisdictions.
7. Prior experience with a top-tier or well-reputed CA firm, with end-to-end audit exposure.
