Job Duties
Client Service
- Ensure the delivery of timely and high-quality work, as per BDO Audit Methodology and in line with the expectations
- Applies knowledge and understanding of the collective effect of various factors on establishing or enhancing effectiveness, or mitigating the risks, of specific policies and procedures
- Perform operating procedures and systems of internal control and conduct audit tests
- Perform analytical reviews of audit documents and preparing the documentation supporting audit opinion
- Utilizing specialized audit software to develop audit work papers.
- Demonstrate professionalism, competence and excellent communication when dealing with US counterpart
- Applies knowledge of transactional flow and key transactional cycles to complete audit work
- Document, validate, and assesses effectiveness of internal control system
- Determines and communicates improvements to BDO USA client internal controls and accounting procedures

- Discuss all significant accounting, auditing and issues identified during the audit with the immediate supervisor

- Applies knowledge and understanding of US GAAP, US GAAS, AICPA, SEC and PCAOB regulations and guidelines, and documents and communicates the application of these principles
- Implement high standards of quality in the day-to-day work.

- Knowledge of current market issues in the Commercial Industries
- Experience serving clients in the Commercial Assurance Sector

Education
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Bachelors or master's degree in accounting or equivalent
Experience
- Fresher or One (1)+ years prior work experience in public accounting required
- Prior Experience in the Commercial Assurance (Manufacturing & Distribution, Retail & Consumer Products, Technology, Professional Services, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Natural Resources, Gaming and Restaurants, Non-Profit & Higher Education)
License/Certifications
- ACCA preferred or actively studying for the ACCA exams
Software
- Microsoft Office Products, including Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience in the use of various assurance applications and research tools as is appropriate for this level

- Excellent communication skills
