Audit Assistant

As an Audit Executive at Kharar, you will be responsible for conducting internal and external audits in compliance with company policies and statutory regulations. Your role will involve reviewing financial statements, accounting entries, and supporting documents for accuracy and compliance. Additionally, you will assist in preparing audit reports that highlight identified discrepancies, risks, and recommendations. It will be crucial for you to ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal control systems. You will also be required to coordinate with internal teams, auditors, and management to resolve audit findings, track corrective actions on audit observations, and stay updated with changes in taxation, accounting, and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct internal and external audits in compliance with company policies and statutory regulations. - Review financial statements, accounting entries, and supporting documents for accuracy and compliance. - Assist in preparing audit reports with identified discrepancies, risks, and recommendations. - Ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal control systems. - Coordinate with internal teams, auditors, and management to resolve audit findings. - Track and monitor corrective actions taken on audit observations. - Stay updated with changes in taxation, accounting, and compliance standards. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in audit/accounts. - Commerce graduate (B.Com / M.Com or equivalent). In order to excel in this role, you should possess a strong knowledge of commerce, accounting principles, and audit practices. Proficiency in MS Office, Tally, or ERP software is preferred. Your excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with good communication and reporting skills, will be essential. Being detail-oriented with strong organizational skills will further contribute to your success in this position.
