Job Description

The Audit Assistant is responsible for assisting in statutory, internal, and tax audits of clients as per standard auditing practices. The role involves verifying financial records, preparing audit reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the audit team in day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in conducting statutory, internal, and tax audits of clients.
  • Verify financial records, vouchers, invoices, and supporting documents.
  • Prepare audit working papers, schedules, and audit documentation.
  • Support in drafting audit observations and final audit reports.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, income tax, and GST regulations.
  • Reconcile accounts, verify bank statements, and check ledgers and journal entries.
  • Assist in filing tax returns, GST returns, and other regulatory forms.
  • Maintain client records and confidentiality of financial data.
  • Communicate with clients to obtain required information and clarifications.
  • Support senior auditors and partners in completing audit assignments on time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
