About the job: Key responsibilities: 1. Assist in conducting internal and statutory audits for clients or the company 2. Verify accounting entries, invoices, bills, and documentation 3. Evaluate compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies 4. Prepare audit reports, working papers, and summaries 5. Support senior auditors in field audits and data collection 6. Assist in preparing and filing direct/indirect taxes (e.g., GST, TDS, ITR) 7. Maintain and update tax-related documents and ledgers 8. Calculate tax liabilities, input credits, and ensure timely compliance 9. Coordinate with clients or internal teams for tax-related queries 10. Keep up with changes in tax laws and financial regulations.
