About the Role

We are a growing Chartered Accountant firm looking for a motivated Audit & Tax Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting, financial statements, and basic tax compliances. You will assist in audits, preparation of financial statements, GST filings, income tax work, and day-to-day accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in statutory, internal and tax audits.
• Prepare and finalize financial statements as per applicable standards.
• Manage accounting entries, reconciliations, and ensure accuracy of books of accounts.
• Handle basic GST compliance including returns, reconciliations, and documentation.
• Assist in income tax filings, TDS workings, and related compliance tasks.
• Maintain workpapers, documentation and coordinate with clients.
• Support partner in various audit and tax projects.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Master’s Degree in Commerce / Finance (M.Com, MBA Finance or equivalent)/CMA inter/CA inter.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a CA firm or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement preparation, GST basics, and income tax basics.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally ERP or similar) and MS Excel.
• Good communication, analytical and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
