As a candidate for the position responsible for assigned food and beverage/culinary operations at Marriott International, you will be overseeing guest and employee satisfaction while maintaining standards and meeting or exceeding financial goals. Your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Creating and nurturing a property environment that emphasizes motivation, empowerment, teamwork, continuous improvement, and a passion for providing service. - Providing excellent customer service to all employees. - Responding quickly and proactively to employee's concerns. - Using coaching skills throughout the property. - Demonstrating self-confidence, energy, and enthusiasm. - Motivating and encouraging staff to solve guest and employee related concerns. In terms of ensuring exceptional customer service, you will: - Provide excellent customer service. - Respond quickly and proactively to guest's concerns. - Understand the brand's service culture. - Set service expectations for all guests internally and externally. - Take ownership of a guest complaint/problem until it is resolved or addressed by the appropriate manager or employee. - Follow up to ensure complaints have been addressed to the guest's satisfaction. - Develop a relationship with all guests to build repeated clientele internally and externally. Additionally, you will be expected to: - Comply with all corporate accounting procedures. - Assist the GM as needed with annual Quality audit.
