Asst Professor for Political Science

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Political Science, including but not limited to political theory, comparative politics, international relations, public administration, and contemporary political issues.
• Prepare and deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and tutorials using innovative teaching methods.
• Design and evaluate assignments, exams, and projects to assess student performance.
• Guide and mentor students academically and provide career counseling where applicable.
• Conduct original research, publish articles, and present findings at conferences and seminars.
• Participate in curriculum development and academic planning.
• Engage in department meetings, workshops, and faculty development programs.
• Supervise student dissertations, theses, and research projects.
• Contribute to administrative tasks and community outreach initiatives.
• Collaborate with other faculty members on interdisciplinary projects.
• Stay updated with trends in political science and related fields.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Political Science from a recognized university.
• Ph.D. in Political Science or related discipline preferred.
• Strong academic record and proven teaching ability.
• Prior teaching or research experience is desirable.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to use educational technology and online teaching platforms.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment.
