Asst Merchandiser

As an Assistant Merchandiser in Womenswear (Fast Fashion) at our company, you will play a vital role in managing the sampling and production process. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: - Coordinating with the design and sampling team to get samples made as per the design brief and deadlines. - Organizing fit sessions, gathering feedback, and ensuring timely approval of samples. - Managing the end-to-end process of sampling to production, ensuring smooth execution of designs. - Handling 20 new designs daily to ensure all designs are developed, revised, and approved on time. - Liaising with pattern masters, tailors, and suppliers to ensure accuracy and quality. - Monitoring fabric selection, trims, and overall garment quality to meet brand standards. - Maintaining detailed records of sampling progress, changes, and approvals. - Identifying and resolving issues related to fits, construction, and production delays. To be successful in this role, you should have: - 2-3 years of experience as an Assistant Merchandiser in womenswear (fast fashion preferred). - A strong understanding of garment construction, pattern making, and fit approvals. - The ability to efficiently handle high volumes of work, managing 20 new designs daily. - Excellent organizational and time-management skills. - Strong communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and vendors. - Proficiency in MS Office and production tracking tools. - A highly detail-oriented and proactive approach.
