Asst. Manager-Sales

As an Assistant Manager-Sales in the Construction Equipment Business at L&T Construction & Mining Machinery in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, you will play a crucial role in the end-to-end sales cycle and business development by acquiring customers and fostering long-term relationships. Your technical expertise will be instrumental in providing pre and after-sales advice on a range of LTCEL & Komatsu products. **Key Responsibilities:** - Identify potential sales leads and maximize customer potential in designated regions. - Cultivate enduring relationships with customers by understanding and meeting their requirements. - Convince clients that our products meet their needs in terms of quality, price, and delivery. - Negotiate contract terms to align with both client and company interests. - Engage with existing and prospective customers, as well as competitors and financiers, to promote Komatsu and LTCEL products as per standard operating procedures (SOPs). - Provide guidance to dealer Sales Engineers and ensure product support. - Regularly collect machine performance reports and customer testimonials. - Strive to achieve quarterly equipment sales targets. - Identify key customers in the area and oversee all necessary activities to strengthen relationships. **Qualification Required:** - B. Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 10-18 years of experience in selling construction equipment such as excavators, compactors, and loaders. In this role, you are expected to demonstrate: - Strong technical knowledge of construction equipment products. - Ability to build enduring relationships with stakeholders. - Proficiency in written and verbal communication in English, Hindi, and Gujarati. - Confidence, outgoing nature, attention to detail, perseverance, and endurance. - Effective negotiation skills. - Teamworking and organizational skills.
