JOB DESCRIPTION*Position Title: Electrical Assistant Manager - Solar Projects**

**Job Summary:**
The Electrical Assistant Manager in Solar Projects plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing electrical aspects of solar projects. This role involves coordinating with various teams to ensure the successful execution of solar projects from inception to completion. The individual will be responsible for assisting in planning, implementing, and supervising electrical systems and components within solar installations.

**Responsibilities:**

1. **Project Planning and Coordination:**
- Assist in the development of project plans and timelines, considering electrical requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure alignment of electrical plans with overall project objectives.

2. **Electrical System Design and Engineering:**
- Support in designing electrical systems for solar projects, including layout, wiring, and component selection.
- Assist in preparing technical drawings, schematics, and specifications for electrical systems.

3. **Procurement and Material Management:**
- Aid in procuring electrical materials and components necessary for solar projects.
- Maintain inventory and ensure availability of electrical equipment and supplies.

4. **Installation and Commissioning:**
- Supervise and coordinate electrical installation activities on-site, ensuring adherence to safety standards and project specifications.
- Assist in commissioning electrical systems, conducting tests, and troubleshooting as necessary.

5. **Quality Assurance and Compliance:**
- Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant electrical codes, regulations, and standards.
- Conduct quality inspections to verify the proper installation and functioning of electrical systems.

6. **Team Management and Training:**
- Provide guidance and support to electrical technicians and contractors involved in solar projects.
- Assist in training personnel on electrical procedures, safety protocols, and best practices.

7. **Documentation and Reporting:**
- Maintain accurate records of electrical activities, including installation progress, inspections, and test results.
- Assist in preparing reports and documentation for project stakeholders and regulatory authorities.

8. **Troubleshooting and Maintenance:**
- Support in diagnosing and resolving electrical issues that may arise during project implementation or operation.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to develop preventive maintenance plans for electrical systems.

**Requirements:**

- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in electrical project management, preferably in the solar industry.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and codes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other design software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Previous experience with solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.
- Certification as a Professional Engineer (PE) or similar credential.
- Familiarity with renewable energy policies and incentives.
- Knowledge of energy storage systems and grid integration.
