Job Description

As a Design Team Lead at our company located in Vasai, your role involves leading and managing the design team. You should have a strong understanding of design principles related to steel structures and possess software skills necessary for the preparation and validation of production drawings, Assembly drawings, design optimization, and performing rolled and structural steel calculations in compliance with IS and international codes. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading and managing the design team - Ensuring a thorough knowledge of design principles of steel structures - Preparing and validating production drawings and Assembly drawings - Performing design optimization and structural steel calculations as per IS & international codes - Assigning tasks to junior engineers for preparing drawings, BOM, etc. - Collaborating with the sales-design team and factory for effective task completion - Assisting in new product development, reverse engineering, and blue engineering In addition to managing the design team, you will be responsible for standardizing storage systems components, preparing SOPs, costing data, and production process plans. You will also be in charge of releasing production drawings based on work orders. Qualifications Required: - Minimum B.E. Technical degree or equivalent - Age Group: 40 & above - Minimum Experience: 5-6 years in Sheet metal & Steel structure Designs You will also be expected to own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching, and performance monitoring of the Design team. Proficiency in software skills such as Creo 3.0, AutoCAD 2D & 3D, and MS Office is a must. Exposure to Staad and Ansys will be considered an added advantage.,
