Job Description

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead Cross Functional Initiatives to enhance supply base capabilities and performance.
Collaborate with Supply Chain, Engineering and Operations team to align on Supplier expectations and product quality.
Support cross-functional projects such as localization, cost reduction, capacity expansion etc.
Technical reviews of drawings and material for New Part Development.
Review and approve PPAP Documents (Process Flow, Control Plan, FMEA, MSA etc.)
Validate process for New Supplier Development and New Sample Approval.
Track and Analyze Supplier Quality Metrics (PPM, Delivery Performance, Claim).
Conduct process audits and evaluate capability of process and facility.

Drive Root Cause Analysis & work with suppliers on CAPA and monitor implementation effectiveness

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in mechanical or production engineering
Minimum 10-15 years Core experience in Supplier quality for commodities like Electrical, Plastic, Rubber, Casting, Fasteners, Hydraulics etc.
Understanding of Construction Equipments (Compactors, Rollers, Pavers etc.)
Excellent communication and presentation skills. German language skills will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of MS Office i.e. MS Excel, PPT and SAP is must.
