Asst. IT Manager, Network

As a Network and Information Security Specialist at Colgate-Palmolive, you will be joining the Global Information Security organization to work closely with the Global Network and Information Security teams. Your role will involve managing Global Network & Global Information Security technologies and team operations, with a focus on network architecture, design, engineering, and support across hybrid environments. Your expertise in network troubleshooting, analysis, and network performance monitoring will be crucial in ensuring the security and efficiency of the network infrastructure. **Main Responsibilities:** - Architectural understanding of Datacenter and Cloud network and correlation with different components - Architectural understanding of Landscape (LAN, WAN, Wireless) - Perform network troubleshooting and diagnose common network problems related to DCLAN/cloud - Analyze business requirements, develop technical network solutions, and perform network modeling, analysis, and budget planning - Monitor and analyze network performance, detect problems, and upgrade network hardware and software components as required - People development and management, including escalation, business reviews, and analytics - Coordinate with Vendor TAC cases for issue resolution and analyze data for trend analysis **Required Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree required - Minimum 7+ years of experience in Network & Security technologies - Strong understanding of Network & Security fundamentals - Good understanding of cybersecurity technology, architecture, and best practices - Modern networking knowledge and understanding (OSI, TCP/IP, switching, routing, firewalling, NAT, proxies, IDS/IPS, WAF's, CDN's, SSL/TLS, etc.) - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently - Excellent communication and collaboration skills **Preferred Qualifications:** - CCNA and CCNP certifications (must to have) - CISSP or equivalent cyber security knowledge is a plus - Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages like Python - Experience working with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) At Colgate-Palmolive, our commitment to inclusion is paramount.
