Job Description

About the Role:

Registered Nurse (ADN)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications, injections, and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor vital signs and patient responses to treatments
  • Assist with wound care, IV therapy, catheterization, and other procedures
  • Educate patients and families about diagnosis, medications, and recovery plans
  • Provide post-discharge care instructions and promote healthy lifestyle choices
  • Offer emotional support and counseling when needed
  • Participate in shift handovers to ensure continuity of care
  • Report patient progress and incidents accurately to incoming staff
  • Assist in transferring or discharging patients as per protocol

Required Skills:

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program
  • Active RN license (NCLEX-RN passed and state-registered)
  • BLS/CPR certification (ACLS/PALS preferred based on unit)
  • Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm in high-pressure situations
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, shifts, and weekends if required
