Job Description

About the Role:

Registered Nurse (ADN)

Key Responsibilities:

Administer medications, injections, and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Monitor vital signs and patient responses to treatments
Assist with wound care, IV therapy, catheterization, and other procedures
Educate patients and families about diagnosis, medications, and recovery plans
Provide post-discharge care instructions and promote healthy lifestyle choices
Offer emotional support and counseling when needed
Participate in shift handovers to ensure continuity of care
Report patient progress and incidents accurately to incoming staff
Assist in transferring or discharging patients as per protocol

Required Skills:

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program
Active RN license (NCLEX-RN passed and state-registered)
BLS/CPR certification (ACLS/PALS preferred based on unit)
Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and remain calm in high-pressure situations
Willingness to work flexible hours, shifts, and weekends if required
