Job Description

Role Overview: As a project manager in the Compliance Technology Office (CTO) at The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc., your primary responsibility will be to drive the delivery of Compliance Engineering initiatives that have a strategic impact on the firm's Compliance program. Specifically, you will be focusing on vendor management and outsourcing solutions, working across various internal teams to define and source scalable outsourcing solutions, manage vendor relationships, and communicate risks to senior management. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement a global delivery management framework for Compliance Engineering teams by leveraging Goldman Sachs's vendors. - Manage vendor relationships, including vendor onboarding, driving contract execution, monitoring delivery, and evaluating vendor performance. This includes identifying and mitigating operational and performance risks. - Oversee the vendor services operating model through forecasting, planning, deploying resources, and managing their entitlements. - Provide timely and accurate reports and analysis related to vendor performance, cost savings, spend vs actuals, and other key metrics to management and stakeholders. - Coordinate with internal expense management teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, resolving any discrepancies or issues. - Keep program stakeholders updated on staffing changes, gather feedback, and discuss with vendor partners. - Monitor performance against service level agreements, addressing unfulfilled KPIs through corrective action plans. - Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvements in the vendor management space. - Design reporting standards for operational metrics, service level requirements, and process KPIs. - Coordinate the budgeting and planning process with internal and external stakeholders, aligning divisional priorities into measurable milestones and targets, comparing performance to plan, and providing ad hoc reporting to stakeholders. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. - 3-5 years of experience in vendor management, outsourcing, or procurement-related roles. - Strong communication skills to interact effectively with vendors, internal teams, and stakeholders at all levels. - Experience in project management, working as part of a global/cross-functional team, and familiarity with contract and budget management. - Ability to work independently and as part of a global team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. - Ability to think creatively, multitask, and work under pressure to identify and resolve issues with stakeholders and vendors. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially in Microsoft Excel. Working knowledge of data analytics and visualization applications like Alteryx and Tableau would be an added advantage. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in analyzing data.
