Associate Trainee - Sales

As a Sales and Customer representative at Malabar Gold and Diamonds, your role involves greeting and receiving customers warmly, engaging with them to understand their requirements, and catering to their needs by showcasing products to influence their buying decisions. You will be expected to learn and understand sales procedures, acquire product knowledge, and strictly adhere to the company's code of conduct. Observing and emulating sales representatives" management processes will help you meet set targets effectively. Additionally, you will proactively assist Sales executives and managers to achieve continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers with sales returns or repair work, calculating and preparing estimates for selected products, achieving category-wise sales targets, and suggesting solutions to enhance store profits. It is essential to learn billing procedures, understand the products and business policies of Malabar Gold and Diamonds, and stay updated on competitors" products, market trends, and industry knowledge. In terms of stock management, you will be required to assist in counting and tallying stock daily, recording opening and closing stock, and ensuring the safe transfer of stock to the locker while handling ornaments with care. Qualifications Required: - Previous experience in sales or customer service is preferred - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Punctuality and adherence to company standards - Willingness to learn and adapt to sales processes - Basic knowledge of billing procedures Please note that this position is full-time, and the work location is in-person.
