Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Associate to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have 2-7 years of experience in taxation, with expertise in GST, Customs, and Indirect Taxation.

Roles and Responsibility

Provide expert advice on tax-related matters, including GST, Customs, and Indirect Taxation.
Conduct thorough analysis of complex tax issues and develop effective solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality services to clients.
Develop and implement innovative tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Build strong relationships with clients and provide exceptional customer service.

Job Requirements

Strong knowledge of taxation principles, including GST, Customs, and Indirect Taxation.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, enabling collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the capacity to prioritize tasks.
Experience working with financial software and systems, demonstrating proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Prior experience or insight into GST and Customs, as well as the erstwhile Indirect taxation (Sales Tax/Service Tax/Central Excise) is desirable.
A law degree (LLB) is required.
