Associate/ Sr. Associate, DD

As an Associate/Senior Associate in the Due Diligence sub-function, you will be responsible for conducting thorough research and analysis on target companies and individuals using various databases and information retrieval resources available in the public domain. It will be your duty to analyze and evaluate the gathered information in compliance with Anti Money Laundering, FCPA, and OFAC sanctions. Your role will involve preparing comprehensive due diligence reports, ensuring accuracy, and meeting professional standards in documentation. You will maintain detailed records supporting your assumptions, methodologies, and sources of information while collaborating with stakeholders and colleagues to deliver reports in a timely manner. Your responsibilities will also include assessing the accuracy of information through quality control processes, sharing expertise within the team, and contributing to the development of research methodologies and tools. It is essential that you handle material non-public information (MNPI) and personally identifiable information (PII) according to Firm requirements and relevant regulations. To excel in this role, you should possess a post-graduate or graduate degree with relevant experience. Excellent communication skills in a culturally diverse environment are crucial, along with strong analytical skills to synthesize information effectively. Organizational and time management skills will be essential for multitasking and completing projects within deadlines. A self-motivated approach with attention to detail and strong work ethics will be key to your success. Preferred qualifications include a specialization in Finance/Economics, professional certifications like CAMS, CFE, or similar, and a minimum of 4 years of due diligence research experience. Experience in Quality Control checks is advantageous.
