Job Description

As an IoT Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer at Pentair in Noida, you will be responsible for driving the testing activities for IoT projects in the Smart Products & IoT Strategic Innovation Centre in India team. You will define the testing strategy for IoT applications and conduct testing using IoT Device simulator. Your role will involve writing and executing test cases for various areas of IoT applications including Cloud Server Side/API, Web Application, Mobile App (iOS & Android), and Integration with Enterprise systems. Additionally, you will be involved in test automation of API, mobile, and web applications. - Define Testing strategy for IoT applications. - Conduct testing using IoT Device simulator. - Write and execute test cases for Cloud Server Side/API, Web Application, Mobile App (iOS & Android), and Integration with Enterprise systems. - Automate API, mobile, and web applications testing. - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related Engineering discipline. - Experience in Validation & Verification of Software including various testing types such as Smoke testing, Sanity testing, Black box testing, System testing, Regression testing, Integration testing, Functional/Non-functional testing. - Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Zephyr, Confluence for Requirement gathering, Requirement Traceability matrix, Test plan preparation, Test case preparation, Test Bed setup, Test Scripts & Defect tracking. - Experience in APIs testing using Postman, SoapUI, Rest Assured. - Ability to map business requirements into test specification, design test cost estimations, prepare test scope & approach. - Experience with SCRUM/Agile process, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), project planning, tracking, monitoring, and risk management. - Good to have experience in designing and building automated test frameworks for web & mobile applications using tools like Selenium with Java/C#, Appium, Test project. - Good to have experience in AWS Cloud environment. - Good to have experience in Load & Performance testing using Jmeter. - Proficiency in source code control tools like Git/SVN and documentation tools like Confluence, Wiki.,
