Associate Specialist, Proposals

The Associate Specialist, Proposals, also known as the Proposal Coordinator, plays a crucial role within the proposals department by assisting the Manager of Proposals in upholding the standard of proposal documentation at KBR. In this position, you will be an integral part of the management team overseeing all pursuits, collaborating closely with sales and operations to deliver innovative, client-centered, and commercially sound proposals. Your main responsibilities will include leading small to medium-sized proposals and pre-qualifications, as well as providing support to project and business development directors on major pursuits. You will be in charge of proposal planning, coordinating team activities, defining deliverables, ensuring compliance with proposal procedures, and guiding others involved in the proposal preparation process. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing proposal budgets, creating win themes and strategies, writing proposal sections, conducting bid reviews, and supporting the commercial aspects of bids. To qualify for this role, you should hold an undergraduate degree in engineering, science, or a related field, along with at least 10 years of combined experience in sales, engineering, construction, or operations within the engineering and construction industry. A solid understanding of proposal principles and international EPC business is essential, as well as experience in managing and writing persuasive proposals. Knowledge of the hydrocarbons market would be advantageous.
