Job Description

Role Overview: Hitachi Energy India Development Centre (IDC) is looking for a self-dependent and structured individual to join their team as a Software Development Engineer. As part of the team, you will be responsible for driving creative innovation in IT and OT technologies, contributing to the development of micro-service architecture for cloud solutions, and ensuring the security and integrity of applications. Your role will involve working in a dynamic environment where agile and lean product development methodologies are practiced. Key Responsibilities: - Demonstrate self-dependence and structured work approach - Drive creative innovation in IT and OT technologies - Work in a dynamic environment with different solutions, establishing structure as needed - Deep understanding of agile and lean product development methodologies - Preferably have work experience in power systems environment - Fair understanding of condition monitoring and asset management - Uphold Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's / master's degree in engineering in Computer Science / Information Technology / Electronics and Communication / M.Sc. in Substation Automation - Documented qualification in IT technologies and micro-service architectures - Proven experience in micro-service architecture development for cloud - Proficiency in Agile/Scrum/SAFe Agile methodologies - Minimum 10 years of software development experience - Minimum 5 years of experience in .NET Core Web API and application design - Proficient in microservice-based application design and development using .NET Core, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL DB, Azure Service Bus or equivalent - Experience in developing secure cloud-native applications using Azure PaaS services - Familiarity with web UI development using React JS or Angular - Knowledge of Azure DevOps for creating build and deployment pipelines - Understanding of application security aspects such as secret management, cryptography, secure communication, etc. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and lead a team - Proficiency in both spoken & written English language (Note: No additional details of the company were provided in the job description),
