Position Summary The Technical Instructional Designer is expected to define and document learning objectives, conduct research, and collaborate with subject experts, create/update instructional materialcourses, curriculum, student guides and training manuals. Job Responsibilities Training DevelopmentProduce meaningful product specific training materials for internal and external audiences that spans a wide range of technical users, Perform iterative updates to existing training material across the product platform, Write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts, Create visual, audio, and interactive learning solutions, Ability to skim through available technical content and identify opportunity for reuse Course design and/or planningAbility to create learning and instructional models that can be divided into courses, curriculum, student guides, and training manuals, Maximize adult learning methods, streamlining the structure and optimizing the course time for all training material, Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models Rapid Authoring tools (Articulate, Captivate), Video and audio editing (Camtasia, Adobe Creative Cloud tools like Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator), Experience with authoring and managing courses in an LMS. Understanding of tools used to create courses and trainings, Solid knowledge of course development software and at least one Learning Management System, Provide methods to track, plan, and create instructional content in an eLearning environment Education BE/B.Tech Master of Computer Application Work Experience The successful candidate must have a minimum of 4-years’ experience designing and creating professional technical product training content to optimize eLearning experiences. Technical writing and content Management experience for customer training purposes is a plus but is not required. Capable of managing and updating training content across multiple products.
