Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Design and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure software quality
Understand functional and non-functional requirements and derive test scenarios
Perform regression, smoke, integration, and exploratory testing
Work closely with developers and product teams to identify bugs early in the cycle
Document defects clearly and follow up until closure
Contribute to building robust test automation frameworks and scripts
Learn to use tools like Selenium, Postman, JIRA, TestNG, Jenkins, etc.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong fundamentals in Software Testing, SDLC, and STLC
Understanding of manual and automated testing methodologies
Familiarity with scripting in any language (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java)
Knowledge of QA tools and frameworks like Selenium, JUnit/TestNG is a plus
Basic knowledge of REST APIs and databases (SQL/NoSQL)
Good problem-solving and communication skills
B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech with 60% or above throughout academics
Ability to work independently and within teams
Passion for software quality and continuous learning
