Associate Project Manager - IT Consulting

As a Junior Project Manager at our India (Pune) Development Center, you will be leading, coordinating, and owning cross-functional distributed teams responsible for all project aspects from initiation to closure. Your primary function will include Project Management, Client Management, and Team Leadership. Working alongside pre-sales and account management teams, you will understand high-level requirements, create estimates, and lead complex projects from design to implementation using Agile/Iterative methodology. You will be responsible for scoping project work, managing resources, and ensuring project completion within the defined scope, time, and budget. It will be your duty to oversee the development of integrated project plans, track project progress, and manage risk effectively. Building and structuring project teams for optimal performance, ensuring client satisfaction, and mentoring development teams will also be part of your role. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in any Engineering discipline, have 4+ years of experience in project management, leadership, and client management, and possess advanced proficiency in PHP, Angular, and JAVA. Certification in Project Management is preferred, along with a good understanding of CMMi and ISO quality processes. Your technical expertise in Open source Java or PHP, excellent people skills, and experience in technology services, project management, and systems operations will be crucial. Your ability to develop people, lead teams, and drive operational excellence will be tested. Proficiency in Agile methodologies, strong negotiation skills, and a drive for results are also essential for success in this role.
