As an Associate in Procurement based in Chennai, your primary responsibilities will include identifying and evaluating suppliers to purchase goods according to business needs. You will be tasked with preparing sales quotes, creating deals, calculating sales margins, and setting up contracts. Negotiating contracts, prices, and terms will also be a key part of your role. Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure their performance meets expectations will be crucial. You will need to identify opportunities for cost savings and implement cost control and budgeting strategies effectively. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree and possess skills in procurement and sourcing. The job requires a proactive approach to managing supplier relationships and a keen eye for identifying cost-saving opportunities.
