Position Details:

• Qualification:

  Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry (Post-doctoral experience preferred)

• Experience:

  2 to 5 years in a CRO/CDMO environment

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure adherence to safety protocols across assigned laboratories
• Conduct literature surveys using SciFinder, Reaxys, patents, etc.
• Design and execute experiments; analyze data using HPLC/GC, NMR (1H & 13C), IR, and LCMS
• Perform synthetic route feasibility studies and process optimization for large-scale NCEs and APIs
• Troubleshoot product quality and manufacturing process issues
• Synthesize process-related impurities and maintain weekly project updates
• Prepare and review process documents including BPRs, optimization reports, hazard evaluations, and technology transfer documents
• Guide junior associates and oversee lab/plant scale reaction execution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of scale-up batches
• Coordinate with Supply Chain to ensure timely availability of materials

• Proven ability to develop scalable processes aligned with manufacturing needs
• Focus on timely project completion and strong attention to detail
