Associate Principal Environmental Engineer

Role Overview: Stantec, a global leader in sustainable engineering, architecture, and environmental consulting, is seeking an Associate Principal Environmental Engineer to join their Environmental Engineering team. In this role, you will lead a team of environmental professionals to provide support to Stantec's global operations and manage a diverse range of projects across various countries. Key Responsibilities: - Lead a team of environmental professionals to support Stantec's global operations. - Plan, coordinate, and manage a diverse range of projects. - Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and regional and Pune project teams" coordination. - Prepare technical correspondence, reports, work plans, investigations, grant applications, and project specifications. - Participate in proposal development, technical presentations, and support marketing and business development activities. - Coordinate multiple projects and interface with regional Stantec offices. - Manage data, QA/QC, interpretation, evaluation/comparison to regulatory standards. - Provide management, guidance, training, and oversight of staff. - Plan and take responsibility for employee recruitment, engagement, and retention. Qualifications Required: - Masters degree in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science with 12-15 years of relevant experience. - Strong technical skills and experience in various environmental fields. - Ability to handle multiple priorities and assignments, work collaboratively and independently. - Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills in English. - Strong leadership of multidisciplinary teams on complex projects. - Ability to effectively communicate with technical professionals, clients, and regulatory stakeholders. - Ability to make presentations related to project plans, updates, and technical issues.
