You will design and implement water resources management programs to ensure the sustainable use and protection of water resources. You will perform analysis of hydrological data to assess the hydrological cycle, watershed characteristics, and water resource availability. Additionally, you will participate in the design and construction of water resources projects, such as dams, canals, drainage systems, and water supply facilities. You will utilize computer models to simulate water flows, floods, and water allocations, as well as predict changes in water resources under different scenarios. Educational Requirements: - Bachelor's or master's degree in water resources engineering, environmental engineering, civil engineering, or a related field. Experience Requirements: - At least 2 years of experience in water resources management or a related field, with project management experience preferred. Skills Required: - Familiarity with hydrologic modeling and water resource management software (e.g., HEC-RAS, SWMM, etc.). - Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data and model results. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the capability to communicate effectively with project teams, clients, and the public. - Excellent team player, able to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team.
