Role Overview: As a member of BCN PEG CoE at Bain Capability Network, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment providing specialized support to global teams in the private equity value chain. You will be responsible for conducting independent analysis, managing a team of 1-3 analysts, generating hypotheses supported by robust business insights, and delivering impactful results at scale. Your role will involve working closely with global Bain teams, acting as a thought-partner with daily deliverables, and solving challenging business problems in a fast-paced setting. Key Responsibilities: - Take ownership of your workstream and conduct analysis independently while managing 1-3 analysts - Generate hypotheses supported by robust business insights - Build a deep understanding and identify relevant analytical tools for your workstream - Perform quality checks in your work, including pressure-testing the insights - Manage a team of 1-3 analysts to ensure case timelines are met - Support the supervisor in work-planning and brainstorming key recommendations/potential impact - Communicate business insights effectively - Resolve complex problems across work streams and adapt to client needs and expectations - Lead internal meetings effectively and own junior-mid level client map relationships - Design well-formatted outputs with a clear and structured storyline to communicate key insights - Deliver clear and professional presentations to the team/team leaders/managers - Seek coaching and guidance from supervisors, drive self-learning for professional development, and motivate team members - Facilitate cross-sharing of learning/knowledge and tools within and across teams - Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to fellow team members Qualifications Required: - Bachelors or Masters degree in any discipline - Strong academic credentials, analytical ability, and leadership skills - 2-5 years of work experience in a global professional services firm environment if highest qualification is undergraduate studies, preferably with at least 1 year of exposure to business research and consulting - 0-3 years of work experience in a global professional services firm environment if highest qualification is postgraduate studies, preferably with at least 1 year of exposure to business research and consulting - Experience in business research, analyzing company performance, and market trends - Experience with databases such as Thomson Reuters, CapitalIQ, Factiva, and D&B preferred - Strong skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with tools such as Tableau and Alteryx is an added advantage - Quick learner, able to work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment (Note: The additional details of the company were not present in the provided job description.),
