Associate Network Engineer

Role Overview: You will be joining NTT DATA as a network engineer in APAC, working in NTT Global Data Center Japan/APAC's IS Department in Singapore. Your main responsibilities will include supporting the daily operation of the network infrastructure and participating in project work as required by business and client needs. You will report to the Director APAC IT and be a part of a diverse and inclusive workplace where you can continue to grow and thrive. Key Responsibilities: - Managing network equipment such as routers, switches, and WIFI - Managing DNS/DHCP/IPAM - Maintaining infrastructure monitoring and alerting system (incl. SIEM) - Maintaining security equipment like Firewall, VPN, RADIUS, and Vulnerability scanner - Managing VoIP telephony system - Providing Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues - Offering internal technical support and serving as an escalation point for support engineers on complex networking and technical matters - Coordinating with on-site engineers and contractors during the provisioning process of any network-related services, including data cabling - Participating in or leading projects - Being part of an on-call rota for out-of-hours network support - Performing any other duties relevant to the position and the company's operations as a part of a small team maintaining a large infrastructure Qualification Required: - Prior experience in an IT Department within a Data Center would be desirable - Knowledge of routing (OSPF/BGP/CIDR/VRRP/IPv6), switching (VLANS/LACP/PoE/STP), DNS/DHCP/SMTP/VPN - Experience in working with Windows and Linux servers - Willingness to engage in hands-on tasks involved in building and running data centers - Flexibility to travel to other locations at short notice - Ability to work and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders from various business areas/functions in project facilitation Additional Details: NTT DATA is committed to providing equal opportunities and is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
