Job Description

As a Network Engineer at NTT DATA, you will play a crucial role in managing the network infrastructure and supporting daily operations in the APAC region. You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects and collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth functioning of the network. Your dedication and expertise will contribute significantly to the success of our global team. **Key Responsibilities:** - Managing network equipment including routers, switches, and WIFI - Managing DNS, DHCP, and IPAM - Maintaining infrastructure monitoring and alerting system, including SIEM - Managing security equipment such as Firewall, VPN, RADIUS, and Vulnerability scanner - Managing VoIP telephony system - Providing Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues - Offering internal technical support and escalation path for support engineers on complex networking and technical issues - Interfacing with on-site engineers and contractors during the provisioning process of network-related services - Participating in or leading projects - Participating in an on-call rota for out-of-hours network support - Performing any other duties relevant to the position and the running of the company, as part of a small team maintaining a large infrastructure **Required Experience:** - Prior experience in an IT Department within a Data Center is desirable - Knowledge of routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, CIDR, VRRP, and IPv6 - Familiarity with switching technologies like VLANS, LACP, PoE, and STP - Understanding of DNS, DHCP, SMTP, and VPN - Experience with Windows and Linux servers is beneficial - Willingness to engage in hands-on tasks related to building and running data centers - Ability to travel to other locations on short notice - Capability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders from various business areas/functions **Academic Qualifications and Certifications:** - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field - Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or Juniper Networks Certified Associate (JNCIA) are advantageous Join NTT DATA and be part of a workplace that values diversity, inclusivity, and professional growth.
