Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Responsible for daily / weekly / monthly Production Planning & scheduling based on customer demand.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, Stores & Purchase for smooth execution of plan.
Responsible for Material Requirement Planning (MRP), capacity planning and manpower allocation.
Monitor daily production output vs plan and take corrective action for gap closures.
Strong knowledge in inventory control, WIP monitoring & FIFO.
Experience in Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing & TPS concepts preferred.
Prepare daily MIS reports, line loading plan & production dashboards.
Responsible to track delivery performance OTIF and action plan for improvement.
Analyze customer forecast, monthly rolling plan & maintain safety stock norms.
Support continuous improvement initiatives in shop floor to reduce cost, improve productivity & lead time.
