Role & responsibilities MSE (Production Planning) Job Description (Exposure to TPS Preferred) : Responsible for daily / weekly / monthly Production Planning & scheduling based on customer demand. Coordinate with Production, Quality, Stores & Purchase for smooth execution of plan. Responsible for Material Requirement Planning (MRP), capacity planning and manpower allocation. Monitor daily production output vs plan and take corrective action for gap closures. Strong knowledge in inventory control, WIP monitoring & FIFO. Experience in Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing & TPS concepts preferred. Prepare daily MIS reports, line loading plan & production dashboards. Responsible to track delivery performance OTIF and action plan for improvement. Analyze customer forecast, monthly rolling plan & maintain safety stock norms. Support continuous improvement initiatives in shop floor to reduce cost, improve productivity & lead time.
Tool Room Engineer - Job Description : 1. Responsible for planning, operating, and maintaining all tool room equipment such as milling, grinding, drilling, and CNC machines. 2. Oversees the manufacturing, repair, and modification of tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges as per production requirements. 3. Ensures timely availability of tools for production to avoid line stoppages and ensure smooth operations. 4. Reviews engineering drawings and specifications to develop precise tooling solutions. 5. Conducts root cause analysis for tooling failures and implements corrective and preventive actions. 6. Monitors tool life, wear, and performance to improve durability and reduce tooling costs. 7. Coordinates with production, maintenance, and quality teams for tool development and issue resolution. 8. Maintains tool room inventory, including spare tools, consumables, and critical components. 9. Ensures adherence to quality standards, safety guidelines, and 5S practices within the tool room. 10.Prepares reports on tooling performance, downtime, maintenance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
