Role Overview

Site Merchandiser

catalog, design, creative, marketing, business, and tech teams

Key Responsibilities

Drive Business Outcomes through Merchandising

  • Ensure homepage, category, gender, and campaign pages are aligned to

    revenue and business goals.

  • Create

    monthly merchandising calendars

    to plan and execute campaigns, launches, and sales.Strategically prioritize visibility and placements based on company goals (e.g., category push, margin targets, new launches).

Optimize Consumer Experience

  • Craft consumer-first journeys on app & web — weaving a

    compelling brand story

    across pages.
  • Continuously test and optimize banners, creatives, and placements for maximum engagement.
  • Influence UI/UX improvements in collaboration with the

    product & tech teams.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with

    catalog & design teams

    for content readiness and creative alignment.
  • Work with

    marketing teams

    to sync campaigns across high visibility placements.
  • Collaborate with

    tech

    to implement merchandising capabilities (recommendation engines, personalization, A/B testing).

Data & Performance Ownership

  • Define and track

    success metrics

    across funnels — homepage CTR, category CTR, bounce rates, conversions.
  • Analyze web/app data, consumer behavior, and campaign outcomes to drive continuous improvement.
  • Share insights with leadership and influence business decisions with data-backed recommendations.

Innovation & Growth

  • Identify gaps and propose

    new merchandising features, experiments, and initiatives.

  • Run pilots to test growth opportunities and scale successful ones.

Must-Haves

  • 3+ years

    of experience in site merchandising / digital merchandising / app management (D2C or marketplace preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to interpret web metrics and customer data to drive action.
  • Proven experience collaborating across design, marketing, catalog, and tech.
  • Strong business acumen — ability to align merchandising to topline, GM%, and category goals.
  • Storytelling mindset — ability to craft consumer journeys that balance creativity with commerce.

Good to Have

  • MBA (not mandatory).
  • Prior experience in

    fashion e-commerce.

  • Experience in both

    D2C platforms and marketplaces.

  • Exposure to

    personalization tools, UI/UX testing, and growth experiments.
