Description
As a candidate at Ralph Lauren Corporation, you will be responsible for managing teams involved in Sales audit, accounting, and operational tasks. Your primary duties will include overseeing journal entries, reconciliations, analyses, operational reconciliations, and processing. You will also support functional area Managers with projects and ad-hoc requests, provide guidance to teams and business partners, track KPIs, streamline procedures, and assist in internal control processes and audits. Key Responsibilities: - Manage teams performing Sales audit, accounting, and operational tasks - Support functional area Managers with projects and ad-hoc requests - Provide guidance and expertise to teams and business partners - Ensure KPIs are tracked and actions are taken to address deviations - Streamline procedures and assist in SOX internal control process - Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives - Support internal and external audits Key Performance Indicators: - Accurate, efficient, and timely close for areas of responsibilities - Timely reconciliation of cash and credit card receivables - Timely reconciliation of store projects and issuance of corresponding invoices - Compliance with Company policies, procedures, internal controls, and SOX requirements - Value-added analysis supporting business decisions - Team building and talent development - Effective communication with internal and external customers Main Accountabilities: - Support functional area Managers with team management - Prioritize work, coordinate deliverables, monitor team performance, and address issues timely - Support preparation and review of teams KPIs - Ensure timely reconciliation of cash and credit card receivables - Provide guidance on accounting for recurring activities and ad-hoc requests - Review GL reconciliations and journal entries - Maintain documented procedures and ensure compliance with policies and SOX requirements - Support audits and identify process improvement opportunities - Assist with ad-hoc assignments and special projects Qualifications Required: - Leadership and project management skills - Excellent English communication skills - Results-oriented, flexible, resourceful, and self-motivated - Advanced analytical skills and problem-solving abilities - Experience in driving improvements and change within a finance function - Strong time-management skills and ability to work independently - Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and completion skills Education And Experience: - 8+ years of experience in finance, accounting, and/or audit - Proficiency in Excel and general ledger applications - University degree in accounting, audit, finance - CA/CPA/ACCA or equivalent preferred - Knowledge of US GAAP/European statutory experience This job at Ralph Lauren Corporation offers you the opportunity to be a part of a global leader in the design and distribution of premium lifestyle products.
