Associate Manager - Process & Quality Dept.

Process & Production Management

• Oversee end-to-end cement manufacturing processes to ensure optimal production efficiency and product quality.
• Monitor and control process parameters for Raw Mill, Kiln, and Cement Mill operations.
• Manage VRM (Vertical Roller Mill) operations-

  preferably Loesche Mill-

  ensuring stable and efficient running conditions.
• Coordinate daily production activities, resolve process bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to production targets while minimizing downtime and optimizing resource utilization.

Quality Control & Testing

• Lead Quality Control activities, ensuring compliance with

  BIS

  standards and

  NABL

  requirements.
• Supervise testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished cement as per established protocols.
• Ensure proper calibration, maintenance, and documentation of testing equipment.
• Review daily quality reports and take corrective/preventive actions to maintain product consistency.
• Ensure strict adherence to quality specifications for raw materials, clinker, and finished products.

Process Control & Optimization

• Implement process optimization techniques to improve energy efficiency, cost reduction, and product performance.
• Monitor key process indicators (KPIs) and initiate corrective measures for deviations.
• Support HEEM (Heat & Energy Efficiency Management) operations to improve thermal and electrical energy performance.

Raw Material & Inventory Management

• Manage raw material handling activities, including unloading, storage, and feed rate supervision.
• Conduct

  raw material and stock verification

  on periodic intervals.
• Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and additives.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong technical knowledge of

  VRM operations (Loesche preferred)

  , kiln, and cement grinding processes.
• Expertise in

  Quality Control

  , BIS/NABL standards, and cement testing protocols.
• Proficiency in process monitoring tools, MIS, and production databases.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team-handling skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
