Associate Manager - Mechanical Maintenance (PVC)

Purpose/Objective

Manage Mechanical maintenance activities for assigned Plant within the GPVC complex and drive to achieve maintenance excellence.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Drive Mechanical maintenance activities for assigned Plant within the GPVC complex . Execute Maintenance strategies to achieve production targets. Ensure safe and accident free working environment, Ensure ZERO accident Coordination with stakeholders including operation, other engineering disciplines, contractors, vendor, etc Training & Development of Trainee officers to develop their competencies and Sucession plan. Analyze the issues, risks, bottlenecks and implement the solutions to overcome limitations and mitigate risks of the Plant. Provide technical support to keep plant operation as per the design with effective and efficient resolution of all PM and CM work orders with providing recommendations, SMPs & contractors scope of work as applicable Provide inputs for Annual Plan & Budget of CAPEX and OPEX for Mechanical Maintenance activities of assigned plant. Implementation of Process Safety Management elements and procedures of the Plant w.r.t. Maintenance. Troubleshoot breakdowns and effectively conduct root cause analysis and drive the recommendations execution. Conduct performance analysis for mechanical equipment to support proactive maintenance plans development. Achieve targeted short and long term asset reliability at optimal cost. Inventory control and availability of critical spares, 2 Year spares and Insurance spares. Ensure compliance to statutory requirements.

Technical Competencies

Mechanical maintenance activities - O&M,Process Safety Management,Root cause analysis,Working knowledge of Annual Plan & Budget of CAPEX and OPEX for Mechanical Maintenance

Qualifications and Experience

Graduate/Postgraduate B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. Having 10~20 years in Mechanical maintenance of large scale complex in Petrochemical, Refinery, Oil & Gas.
