As a Superintendent - Mechanical Maintenance at Adani Group's Dredging division, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations of dredging vessels and associated equipment, with a focus on mechanical components such as gearboxes and hydraulic systems. Your role is crucial in ensuring fleet reliability and availability for efficient operations. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Resource Management:** - Allocate workshop resources and skilled manpower effectively based on task priorities and project schedules to ensure optimal utilization and achieve desired results within specified time frames. - **Budget Control:** - Monitor costs, manage one-time Capex projects within time and budget constraints, and prepare necessary budgets. - **Mechanical System Effectiveness:** - Develop and implement a comprehensive mechanical maintenance strategy to ensure the reliability and efficiency of mechanical equipment, including gearboxes, hydraulic systems, and transmissions. - **Equipment Maintenance:** - Ensure the effectiveness of mechanical equipment by calibrating critical instruments per OEM recommendations, conducting regular inspections, implementing preventive maintenance, and supporting RCA and CAPA procedures. - **Indigenization And Innovation:** - Identify opportunities for indigenizing assemblies and components to reduce dependency on external suppliers, collaborate with engineering teams to develop local manufacturing or sourcing strategies, and implement innovative solutions to enhance workshop capabilities and efficiency. - **Health And Safety:** - Maintain a safe work environment by ensuring adherence to safe practices and policies. - **Digital Mindset:** - Keep abreast of digital and AI advancements to enhance business operations and maintain competitiveness. - **Team Development:** - Promote a respectful and safe workplace, lead collaborative and productive teams, and mentor for growth and success. **Qualifications:** - **Education Qualification:** - Diploma in Mechanical (Essential) or B Tech (Desirable) - **Work Experience:** - 10-15 years of experience in mechanical maintenance Join Adani Group's Dredging division to be part of a dynamic organization that has evolved into a comprehensive dredging services provider, offering a diverse range of solutions and opportunities for professional growth and development.
