Associate - Legal & Remedial

The primary goal of this role is to provide support to the business by aiding the collections function in efficient debt recovery using legal methods. Key Responsibilities include: - Identifying cases suitable for legal actions like filing 138, SARFASEI, and other legal proceedings after consultation. - Managing all legal aspects related to debt recovery through SARFASEI actions. - Assisting in developing strategies and procedures for debt recovery, maintaining legal Management Information System (MIS), and preparing quarterly reports on legal recovery. - Participating in arbitration, section 9, execution, court receiver meetings, and drafting legal documents like notices and applications. - Overseeing all legal, SARFAESI, and compliance matters of the company, and coordinating with external agencies for SARFAESI Act execution. - Ensuring proper handling and safekeeping of collaterals post surrender or repossession in adherence to SARFAESI Act norms. - Collaborating with enforcement agencies and local authorities during property possession, and ensuring compliance with legal guidelines. - Staying updated on local laws, industry practices, and trends related to collections, security creation, and loan documentation. Educational Requirement: - A degree in Law is mandatory for this position.,
