Associate, Investor Relations

As an Associate at Ares, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Alternative Credit Product Management and Investor Relations Team. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Assisting in producing fund reporting for investors on a monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc basis - Supporting in building new client materials and various prospect/marketing materials - Updating market and fund specific data within existing communications To excel in this position, you must possess the following competencies: - Strong quantitative and analytical skills to interpret portfolio data and track key investment metrics - Advanced proficiency in Excel and other tools (e.g., Power BI) to create accurate and clear investor reports - Excellent verbal and written communication skills to represent the Firm professionally - Exceptional relationship skills to establish trust with a wide range of individuals - Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and meet deadlines under pressure Qualifications required for this role include: Education: - Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field with exposure to accounting or corporate finance Experience: - 3-5 years of experience in investor relations or product specialist role, or a background in credit with an interest in investor relations within Alternative Credit Additional details about Ares: Over the last 20 years, Ares has attributed its success to its people and culture.
