Associate II - Product Engineering

As an Agile Process Specialist / Software Engineer (Agile Practices) at UST, you will play a crucial role in developing applications, contributing to maintenance activities, and participating in research and development initiatives under the guidance of Product Engineer I. Your responsibilities will include: - Understanding and analyzing product requirements and user stories. - Ensuring test coverage and high code quality with thorough unit tests. - Troubleshooting development and production issues across environments. - Participating in code reviews and maintaining adherence to best practices. - Executing test cases and supporting release documentation. - Ensuring customer satisfaction through consistent delivery and support. Your outcomes will be measured based on: - 100% adherence to coding standards and engineering processes. - Timely delivery as per project schedules and estimates. - Minimal technical issues and post-delivery defects. - Low non-compliance and defect rates. - On-time completion of mandatory certifications. Key Skills Required: - Strong understanding and practical implementation of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban). - Experience with Agile/Quality metrics, DevSecOps, Test Automation. - Proficiency in project metrics analysis and reporting. - Familiarity with Design, Construction, CI/CD processes. - Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, SonarQube. - Experience in process improvement, mentoring, and compliance. Desirable Skills: - Certification in SAFE Agilist, CSM, PSM. - Knowledge of industry standards: CMMi Dev V1.3, V2.0, SOC controls, ISO 9001/27001/27701. - Experience in SEPG forums, internal quality audits, or process forums. - Proficiency in Visio for process/workflow documentation. - Experience in delivering training and process enablement sessions. In addition to your technical skills, you are expected to have: - Strong domain and industry knowledge. - Knowledge of software architecture, product functionality, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Understanding of software development lifecycle (Agile & Waterfall). - Familiarity with quality assurance/automation processes. - UX design sensibilities and user-centric product development approach.
