Job Description

You will be working as an Agile Process Specialist / Software Engineer focusing on Agile Practices with an experience range of 4-6 years. Your primary role will involve developing applications, participating in maintenance activities, reusing proven solutions, and contributing to research and development initiatives under the guidance of a Product Engineer I. Your key responsibilities will include understanding and analyzing product requirements and user stories, ensuring test coverage and high code quality with thorough unit tests, troubleshooting development and production issues across environments, participating in code reviews, and maintaining adherence to best practices. Additionally, you will be expected to execute test cases, support release documentation, and ensure customer satisfaction through consistent delivery and support. To measure the outcomes of your work, adherence to coding standards and engineering processes, timely delivery as per project schedules and estimates, minimal technical issues and post-delivery defects, low non-compliance and defect rates, and on-time completion of mandatory certifications will be considered. Your outputs are expected to include understanding and refining functional and non-functional requirements, contributing to development and delivery within SLA, building POCs for new technologies, ensuring code compliance with standards and quality metrics, supporting UAT, maintaining 100% code coverage, reviewing and executing test plans, resolving defects, assisting in product documentation and training, addressing outstanding issues, and contributing to sign-offs. Furthermore, you will need to have a strong understanding and practical implementation of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban), experience with Agile/Quality metrics, DevSecOps, Test Automation, proficiency in project metrics analysis and reporting, familiarity with Design, Construction, CI/CD processes, hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, SonarQube, experience in process improvement, mentoring, and compliance. Certifications in SAFE Agilist, CSM, PSM, knowledge of industry standards like CMMi Dev V1.3, V2.0, SOC controls, ISO 9001/27001/27701, experience in SEPG forums, internal quality audits, or process forums, proficiency in Visio for process/workflow documentation, and experience in delivering training and process enablement sessions are considered good-to-have skills. In addition to the specific role requirements, you are expected to have strong domain and industry knowledge, knowledge of software architecture, product functionality, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), understanding of software development lifecycle (Agile & Waterfall), familiarity with quality assurance/automation processes, UX design sensibilities, and a user-centric product development approach.
