Conceptualization &Design: Lead the designprocess from initial concept and sketching to detailed 2D/3D renderings andtechnical drawings for bespoke furniture pieces and collections, with a strongfocus on luxury aesthetics. Bespoke Solutions: Collaborate closely with internal &external stakeholders to understand specific requirements and develop unique,custom-designed furniture solutions that align with the overall project visionand brand identity. Material & FinishSelection: Research,select, and specify high-quality materials, finishes, and hardware appropriatefor luxury furniture, considering aesthetics, durability, sustainability (whereapplicable), and budget. Prototyping &Development: Workclosely with craftsmen, workshops, and manufacturers to oversee the prototypingand production process, ensuring faithful execution of designs and maintainingthe highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. Trend Research &Innovation: Stayabreast of global design trends, innovations in furniture design, materials,and manufacturing techniques, particularly within the luxury sector. Portfolio Development: Continuously build and refine aportfolio of luxury furniture designs that showcase creativity, technicalskill, and an understanding of sophisticated aesthetics. Requirements Bachelorsor Master\u2019s degree in Furniture Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design, ora related field. Professionalexperience specifically in designing luxury and bespoke furniture, with astrong emphasis on items like cabinetry, tables, and unique statement pieces. Anoutstanding portfolio showcasing a proven track record of high-end, realizedfurniture designs that demonstrate creativity, elegance, sophistication, andexceptional craftsmanship. Proficiencyin design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Rhino, SketchUp, Keyshot,V-Ray, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Deepknowledge of furniture construction techniques, materials (woods, metals,stone, upholstery, exotic veneers, specialty finishes), and manufacturingprocesses for luxury goods. Strongunderstanding of ergonomics and functionality in furniture design. Excellentsketching, hand-drawing, and visual communication skills.
