This is a full-time, remote position based in India.

The Associate Founder Indian Operations will play a key role in building and managing Studio Janala's Indian Team, working closely with artisans and the global team to bring the brand's handloom vision to life.

Role Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and nurture

  artisan relationships

  , ensuring the highest standards of craftsmanship.
• Oversee

  production, sourcing, and logistics

  from India to international markets.
• Collaborate with the

  Germany-based central team

  on product development, business strategy, and brand storytelling.
• Support

  marketing and outreach initiatives

  that promote Indian handloom globally.
• Contribute to the company's

  early-stage operations and growth strategy

Qualifications

• Educational background in Fashion Design or Textile Design

  (preferred).
• Strong understanding of

  fabrics, weaving techniques, and handloom processes

  .
• Excellent

  communication, coordination, and organizational

  skills.
• Ability to

  work independently

  and thrive in a dynamic startup environment.
• Deep

  passion for Indian crafts, sustainability, and ethical fashion

  .

• Fresh graduates or junior designers

  with strong determination and leadership skills are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in

  fashion startups, artisan collaborations, or production management

  is a plus.

Compensation

• Monthly remuneration:

  ?15,000 INR

• Equity / Profit Sharing:

  Up to

  25% ownership or profit share
