General Summary:

As a Qualcomm Hardware Systems Engineer, you will design a complete framework or system that influences the shaping of state-of-the-art mobile, edge, auto, AR/VR, compute, IOT, wearable products. Qualcomm Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., design, software, testing teams, etc.) to identify hardware testing needs and integrate components into products or systems. Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Applies Hardware Systems knowledge to assist in the design, development, modification, and evaluation of electronic parts, components, or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment, other hardware systems, and/or electrical engineering applications.

Develops basic system features and components to identify potential flaws or compliance issues and finds solutions.

Assists with testing of chipset design for a specific component of a subsystem.

Assists in defining sensitivity/integrity of a specific component of design based on device specifications and requirements and ensures platform is compatible and supported by appropriate system requirements.
Level of Responsibility

Works under supervision.

Decision-making affects direct area of work and/or work group.

Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey basic, routine factual information.

Tasks consist of a limited number of steps and can be referenced using directions or manuals.
