Associate Engineer-Network Deployment

Role Overview: As an Associate Engineer-Network Deployment at Infrastructure Core Products (ICP) - Global Network Services in Pune, India, you will be responsible for maintaining the network environment, preparing, documenting, and deploying changes in the network, troubleshooting network issues, and liaising with carriers and vendors for installations. You will support routine changes and large projects in various network areas across different locations and functionalities. Key Responsibilities: - Implement solutions leveraging existing design standards and deploy new technologies as required - Document and deploy changes in the network - Troubleshoot network issues using tools like Wireshark - Liaise with carriers and vendors for installations - Support projects in network backbone, data center, extranets, trading floor, and branch network - Work on the design and buildouts of new locations and features for global initiatives related to market data applications and financial systems Qualifications Required: - Up to 2 years of experience in a corporate global network environment, preferably with financial institutions - Basic networking technology skills and understanding of cross-platform technologies - Certification as a technical engineer (e.g. Cisco CCNA or comparable) - Good understanding of ITIL and service management principles - Basic understanding of Ethernet, Spanning Tree, TCP/IP, Routing protocols (RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP), Cisco operating systems (IOS, NX-OS) - Experience with network monitoring and management tools/analysis tools - Strong analytical skills and communication skills in local language and English - Ability to work in virtual global teams and matrix organization - Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as per business requirements Company Details: Deutsche Bank is committed to fostering a culture of empowerment, responsibility, commercial thinking, and collaboration.
