Associate Director- Tax and Treasury

Role Overview: Cond Nast India, a global media company with a massive consumer base, is looking for a skilled Indirect and Direct Tax Specialist to ensure accurate tax compliance and submissions. As the Indirect and Direct Tax Specialist, you will play a crucial role in coordinating with internal teams, legal experts, and external consultants to maintain GST and Direct Tax compliance. Key Responsibilities: - Verify the accuracy of all GST submissions prepared by the assistant tax manager and ensure timely and accurate return filing - Coordinate with the legal team to update GST-related contractual terms in accordance with the latest provisions - Recommend necessary changes to the ERP system as per GST laws and work with the ERP consultant for implementation - Provide guidance to team members on GST-related queries and ensure timely resolution - Prepare reconciliations and necessary details for Statutory, GST, and Income Tax audits - Maintain compliance tracker, tax opinions, and records for audits and assessments - Verify and prepare all tax returns, including TDS, Income tax, and Transfer pricing returns - Ensure accurate filing of tax returns and represent the company during audits and assessments - Coordinate with external experts for transfer pricing audits and assessments - Maintain compliance tracker, tax opinions, and records for audits and assessments - Coordinate and submit details to HQ as required Qualification Required: - Educational Qualifications: CA - Relevant Experience: 8 to 10 years About Cond Nast: Cond Nast India is a globally recognized media company known for its high-quality content across various platforms.
