The Senior Features Editor position at CNT involves producing, commissioning, and editing features for CNT's print editions and digital platforms. Reporting to the Head of Editorial Content, you will supervise stories from the team and external contributors, playing a crucial role in shaping the brand's tone and voice. As one of the most seasoned writers and editors on the team, you will contribute significantly to CNT's content. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with CNT's editorial leadership to create, commission, and edit features for all platforms, mentoring young writers, coordinating with international colleagues for global story opportunities, and representing CNT at industry events. Additionally, you will participate in social, digital, and video strategies, build commercial relationships, and engage in special projects when needed. The ideal candidate must possess exceptional writing and editing skills, prior experience in publishing or lifestyle magazines, and familiarity with digital publishing practices. A talent for storytelling, trend identification, audience engagement, and SEO is essential. Knowledge of data analytics tools and a strong understanding of Indian culture are crucial, along with effective interpersonal communication and collaboration skills across departments and hierarchies.
